Fall of Night by Danika Stone – Review & Giveaway

Hi everyone! I just finished Fall of Night by Danika Stone and I think it was the perfect ending to her Waterton series. It might actually be my favorite of the series. Fall of Night did a spectacular job of wrapping up the decades of secrets and cover-ups in the town. It has a great pace and is full of intrigue. I love the quirky characters and Danika’s ability to put the reader in the action and world of Waterton.

I highly suggest you read Edge of Wild and The Dark Divide first, but they technically aren’t required to understand Fall of Night. However, they’re full of mystery and suspense and lay the groundwork for all the characters of Waterton.

Book Summary: Rich Evans is desperate to say goodbye to his past in New York and embrace a future in Waterton with fiancee Louise Newman, a small-town mechanic with an uncanny gift of foresight. But even Lou’s warnings are not enough to avoid the new troubles threatening the isolated border town. Rich returns to Waterton to discover the body of his estranged ex-girlfriend has been found in a remote mountain lake.

Constable Sadie Black Plume uncovers grisly details linking Gabrielle’s murder to a web of organized crime with connections to all layers of Waterton’s close-knit community. With Rich as the main suspect, Rich and Lou are forced to prove his innocence in a small town where the term ‘outsider’ can be applied to anyone who wasn’t born there.
